7.5 Year Limited Domestic Warranty
Models: PU225, PU250, PU295
Gippsland Vacuums warrants the Smart Ducted Vacuum Systems Models: PU225, PU250 & PU295 power units for a period of 7.5 years against manufacturing and operational defects from the date of sale to the original purchaser. Any parts or repairs, excluding filters, required within the first 7.5 years will be supplied free of charge by Gippsland Vacuums.
In the event of a warranty claim the ducted vacuum unit must be returned to Gippsland Vacuums, charges for freight or other transportation costs, insurance of equipment when in transit to or from Gippsland Vacuums shall be borne by the purchaser or claimant. In the event that the ducted vacuum unit cannot be returned to Gippsland Vacuums and Gippsland Vacuums is required to go and repair the ducted unit onsite a nominal service fee will be charged for coming out.
4 Year Limited Domestic Warranty
Models: The Vac & SM165
Gippsland Vacuums warrants the Smart Ducted Vacuum Systems Models: The Vac & SM165 power units for a period of 4 years against manufacturing and operational defects from the date of sale to the original purchaser. Any parts or repairs, excluding filters, required within the first four years will be supplied free of charge by Gippsland Vacuums.
In the event of a warranty claim the ducted vacuum unit must be returned to Gippsland Vacuums, charges for freight or other transportation costs, insurance of equipment when in transit to or from Gippsland Vacuums shall be borne by the purchaser or claimant. In the event that the ducted vacuum unit cannot be returned to Gippsland Vacuums and Gippsland Vacuums is required to go and repair the ducted unit onsite a nominal service fee will be charged for coming out.
In the event that Gippsland Vacuums is no longer in business Smart Ducted Vacuum Systems Australia 58 Henley Beach Rd, Mile End. S.A. 5031 Ph (08) 8351 9868 will perform all necessary repairs under warranty, provided the unit is returned to Smart Ducted Vacuum Systems in S.A. or to their nominated authorised repairer, freight must be pre paid by the purchaser. The warranty does not apply to commercial applications, misuse, abuse, or if the unit has been worked on by an unauthorized person.
Gippsland Vacuums will repair or replace any part proved to be defective, excluding filters, caused by faulty parts or defective workmanship during manufacturing within the warranty period without charge to the original purchaser provided that purchase date is presented at the time of requested for warranty service.
Replacement of parts will only be made without charge where defective parts or manufacture is evident on inspection by Gippsland Vacuums. Gippsland Vacuums does not include replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear of the equipment, misuse or willful damage. Where no original defect in parts or manufacture is found on inspection and repairs are carried out, the current rate for such repairs will be charged.
All warranties will be null and void on any equipment if warranty inspection are not fulfilled, unauthorized service, repair, modification or alteration of the equipment in any way or the negligence, accident, other misuse or damage caused during transport to Gippsland Vacuums.
Warranty claims should be made within 14 days of the alleged defect becoming apparent. All claims should be accompanied by proof of the purchase date of the equipment and this warranty card if same is in your possession.

One year warranty on any hose or accessory.
Five (5) year warranty on Mundo Power Unit.
Serenity Platinum Power Units
One year warranty on any hose, accessory, inlet valve or fitting.
